Description and Requirements

The ideal candidate will excel at building relationships with their business partners in HR (Operations and Business facing), Finance, Payroll and Legal in order to define and deliver competitive and engaging benefits programs in the region. Candidate will have experience with operational  aspects of benefits program delivery, ideally with a regional or global technology company.

LAS region includes 6 countries with a combined headcount of approximately 3,500 plus employees. Benefit programs in the region include supplemental health and welfare programs, defined benefit and defined contribution retirement plans and an array of ancillary benefit and wellness programs, allowances and policies.


Key focus areas for the role:

  • Work with LA Region Total Rewards leader and HR Business Partners to assist the team implementing the benefit strategy aligned with business objectives, benefits philosophy, and culture of the company.
  • Oversight and management of invoicing process on benefit plans within 6 countries, such as medical, dental, life and disability insurance, paid time off, pension/retirement, wellness, and perquisites
  • Support LA Region Total Rewards Leader with the administration of the benefits programs and brokerage relationship.  Assist the team with communications and advise employees on benefit related issues.

·       Support the Benefits Team on compliance with local legislation regarding taxes, reporting and privacy issues. 

  • Participates on Benefits surveys and Operations or cross-functional project teams with Global and Regional Teams
  • Understand and influence the benefits budget within the region. Suggest improvements to budgeting process where warranted.
  • Maintain function knowledge of benefits offered, plan provisions, costs, market practices and legal requirements.
  • Participate and support with the due diligence for acquisitions and divestitures.

 

Position Requirements:


• 3 plus years benefits administration experience, ideally in a high-tech company environment
• Strong teamwork, analytical, and communication skills
• Benefit administration experience across different areas (Payroll, Finance, Legal and HR Operations)

• Language skills: English intermediate level Spanish fluency required
