Descrição e requisitos

Motorola is empowering consumers to go beyond the limits of the traditional smartphone, unleashing the power of the mobile device to amplify software experiences.  We are looking for a skilled and experienced Product Manager to oversee the development and launch of new monetizable services. The Product Manager will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, analyzing market trends, and developing strategies for services that can be monetized. This role will require close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, marketing, and sales to ensure the successful development, launch, and monetization of services.  

Key Responsibilities:

The Product Manager takes initiative and is responsible for developing and managing the consumer requirements, product definition and lifecycle management for a given experience which uniquely combines HW and SW with a goal of building sustainable products and services. The position requires a continuous pulse on technology, market research and competitive activity and drives product requirements to bring innovative new products to market.

As the product owner, you will drive product from concept through launch phases and continually act as the product evangelist and expert demo’er.

  • Analyze consumer needs and pain points as well as key market trends to define product and service vision.

  • Develop and manage the product roadmap for new services, contributing to growth and user engagement. 

  • Author a PRD including value proposition, product and service goals, key selling points, regional requirements, product specifications, financials and KPIs. 

  • Manage a product vision and consumer journey based on collective learnings and alignment with UI/UX, Engineering, Consumer Insights, Geos, and other teams.  

  • Drive cross-functional alignment on a committed global release plan.  

  • Drive focus on product goals and action at each development milestone to ensure product remains competitive and delivers on consumer experience goals 

  • Work closely with Marketing, PR and Sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies for new services, including pricing, positioning, and messaging.

  • Analyze the performance of new services and optimize them for revenue generation.

  • Continuously monitor market trends and adjust the product roadmap as necessary.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of Product Management of software and services in mobile industries

  • Undergraduate major ­ ie. CS, EE, or ME  

  • Proven experience in launching Android or iOS applications or services

  • Highly effective communication skills are required  

  • Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters or MBA

  • Experience in launching services with paid, freemium subscription models

  • Proven ability to run large scale, complex projects 

  • Strong product management experience and the ability to drive innovation, anticipate product weaknesses, delays or risks, and creatively problem solve with the team

  • Ability to guide / influence a large group and provide direction on all aspects of product features, schedules and deliverables

  • A keen, flexible and aggressive intellect with superb conceptual thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to analyze and communicate technical issues, lead discussions, and influence decisions
