Lenovo’s Gaming Notebook Design Group seeking a qualified Technical Project Manager (TPM) whose primary mission is to lead project team and common pool resources, development gaming NB product and ensure the successful of delivery. Strong communication skill to talk with cross-functional, cross-geography project teams to plan project schedule, management the development risk, execute and deliver the Gaming NB products on time is one of major task of this role.

Responsibilities:

Concept Design management:

# Notebook concept thermal design, assessment, solution optimization, and verification management.
# Research with industry vendor about how new technologies to be deployed into new platforms.

# Innovation study, system thermal solution, new thermal fan, thermal part & thermal technology.
# To communicate with R&D teams on the feasibility of new product concept that brought up by marketing.
# Understand and manage project scope to deliver within the time / cost restraint.

# Take gaming product industry feature research, include the competitor’s feature analyses and key feature industry roadmap study.

# Host regular interlock meeting with internal and external on project status discussion (Schedule, feature design, function target…).
# Participate engineering/ manufacture/ quality meeting to monitor design related issues, and organize team to resolve critical issues, or mitigation plan of any uncertainties.

# Technical background 5+ years’ experience in thermal design, Notebook product experience is preferred.
# Familiar with thermal module & fan and heat pipe design，manufacturing quality management and cost analysis.
# English skills in oral communication, reading and dealing with email.
# Strong cross-functional collaboration across diverse stakeholders to ensure responsiveness to deliverables and deadlines, alignment with project goal, and drive action.

# Familiar with thermal and acoustic analyses, and capable of completing the verification independently.
