Position Summary
This is a role for a 5+ year experienced trade compliance attorney to join the Global Legal &
Compliance team. The position plays a critical role in advising on global trade and export
control matters, and supporting the company’s global trade compliance framework in
China and the AP region.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and interpret evolving global trade laws, regulations, and policies applicable to the company, and assess their impact on business strategy and operations.

• Advise on trade compliance risk assessments, audits, validation activities, and due diligence reviews, and develop enhancement or remediation plans as needed.

• Provide strategic legal advice on import/export controls and trade compliance matters, including R&D, procurement, and production activities.

• Design, implement, and advise on trade compliance policies, operating procedures, and technology control plans across China and AP.

• Support product classification, export control determination (including EAR analysis), ECCN classification, license determination, and license applications.

• Conduct or support certain trade-compliance–related internal investigations.

• Manage critical projects and oversee cross-functional activities to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

• Review contracts from a trade compliance and export control perspective.

• Communicate with external stakeholders, including suppliers, agents, customers, trade associations, and government authorities, on trade compliance requirements and industry best practices.

• Coordinate with external legal counsel as appropriate and work closely with internal stakeholders, including senior executives, business units, and functional teams.

• Provide regular updates on trade compliance developments, risks, and enforcement trends.

Position Requirements

Professional Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of export control laws and regulations, including those of theUnited States, mainland China, and Taiwan.

• Ability to provide guidance on EAR applicability, ECCN classification, license determination, and export control compliance.

• Demonstrated ability to proactively identify, analyze, and solve complex legal and compliance issues beyond established frameworks.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex legal advice to senior executives and gain trust from business stakeholders.

• Strong written work-product skills and attention to detail.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of legal or compliance experience advising multinational companies on trade compliance and export control matters.
• Law firm or consulting firm experience is a plus, but not mandatory.

Language

• Fluency in both Mandarin and English (written and spoken).

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from the U.S. or other common law jurisdictions; or

• PRC Law Degree with an LL.M. from a common law jurisdiction.

职位概述
本职位面向具备扎实经验的贸易管制合规法律专业人士，加入公司全球法务与合规团队。该职位将深度参与公司全球贸易及出口管制合规工作，重点为业务团队及管理层提供相关法律支持，并推动中国及亚太地区贸易合规管理体系的建设与落地。

岗位职责：
· 持续跟踪、分析并解读适用于公司的全球贸易法律、法规及政策变化，并评估其对公司业务战略及经营活动的影响。
· 就贸易合规风险评估、内部审计、合规验证及尽职调查等事项提供法律意见，并协助制定改进或整改方案。
· 就进出口管制及贸易合规相关事项提供战略性法律支持，包括与研发、采购及生产活动相关的合规问题。
· 设计、推动并就贸易合规政策、操作流程及技术管控方案在中国及亚太地区的实施提供法律支持。
· 支持产品分类、出口管制适用性判断（包括 EAR 分析）、ECCN 分类、许可证判定及许可证申请等工作。
· 根据需要，参与或支持与贸易合规相关的内部调查。
· 管理关键合规项目，协调跨职能团队，确保公司运营活动符合适用法律法规及内部政策要求。
· 从贸易合规和出口管制视角对相关合同进行审查。
· 与外部利益相关方（包括供应商、代理商、客户、行业协会及政府主管部门）就贸易合规要求及行业最佳实践进行沟通。
· 在适当情况下协调外部律师，并与公司内部各相关方（包括管理层、业务部门及职能团队）保持密切合作。
· 定期向相关方汇报贸易合规相关的法规动态、风险及执法趋势。

任职要求
专业能力：
· 熟悉并具备扎实的出口管制及贸易合规法律知识，包括但不限于美国、中国大陆及其他亚太地区的相关法律法规。
· 能够就 EAR 适用性、ECCN 分类、许可证判定及出口管制合规提供专业判断与指导。
· 具备主动识别、分析并解决复杂法律及合规问题的能力，能够突破既有框架提出可行方案。
· 具备出色的沟通能力，能够向管理层清晰解释复杂法律问题，并赢得业务团队的信任与支持。
· 具备高质量书面法律工作能力，注重细节，逻辑严谨。

工作经验：
· 至少5年法律或合规相关工作经验，其中不少于2年为跨国企业提供贸易合规及出口管制法律支持的经验。
· 具有律师事务所或咨询机构工作经验者优先，但非必须条件。

语言能力
· 中英文流利（书面及口语）。

教育背景
· 具有美国或其他普通法法域法学博士（JD）者优先；

· 中国法律本科 / 硕士学位，并取得普通法法域的 LL.M. 学位。
