SaaS Platform Lead
Job Description:
Lenovo is looking for an enthusiastic individual seeking to start or expand his/her career with one of the company’s promising endeavors within the SSG SaaS organization as a leader of the Lenovo Cloud Marketplace team.
The Lenovo Cloud Marketplace (LCM) connects vendors, sellers, distributors, and users. It serves to enable cloud technologies and is part of Lenovo’s strategy to achieve extraordinary growth for small, medium or enterprise business as we expand our vendor relationships. The LCM is delivered by the AppXite team, which provides automated provisioning, billing and customer management features for our distributors, sellers, MSPs and vendors to build, sell, deliver, and operate multi-cloud, SaaS, and managed services catalog.
As the platform team lead, you’re expected to manage and deliver integration projects between LCM and other third-party systems to empower partners and customers to get the most out of the platform.
To that end, you will leverage a developer portal and a set of AppXite application programming interfaces (APIs). Specifically, you will provide leadership in the following aspects of work:
·Platform Integrations: Build API integrations (and use them in test mode) to webstores & marketplaces or ERP, CRM, & ITSM systems to create automated custom workflows
·Manage integration projects throughout planning to execution phases. Coordinate, configure, and test integrations between LCM, third-party systems integrators, software developers, distributors, resellers, vendors, and their clients.
·Data & Telemetry: Extract billing & reporting data or use the data LCM collects to manage subscriptions & consumption of applications
·Manage and grow the team: Effectively manage resources to help team members achieve team targets and grow in their positions
You will be working alongside other members of the CSP Team, Software Managers, Channel Managers and with external channel partners to deliver the technology behind our LCM platform.
Responsibilities
- Work with Lenovo partners and clients to capture their needs/requirements for system integration with LCM
- Accountable for Lenovo, partner, and client integration projects, overseeing end-to-end from building project plans, coordinating the plan to completion, and evaluating such projects on a regular basis
- Responsible for the overall configuration and testing of integrations between client or vendor systems and LCM
- Understand technical integration, cloud, and API technologies to accurately collect project plan requirements and other technical requirements
- Responsible for project plan documentation including the development of some use case specifications
Qualifications
- More than 10 years of experience in platform and project management
- Bachelor’s Degree (computer science preferred or comparable work experience)
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Experience producing software development scope/specification documentation
- Knowledge of systems integration using APIs
- Very strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to learn quickly and work with best practices
- Solid experience in REST, APIs, ETL, and Cloud technologies
- Ability to work with systems integrators, external developers, and partners
- Have excellent verbal and written communications skills
