职位描述和要求:

As a Audio Engineer, you will be responsible for designing audio sub-systems, selecting audio CODECs and transducers, improving audio system quality, working with software/product design engineers to optimize audio performance, and initiate new acoustic designs. You will be involved in projects from concept through project completion, gaining exposure to the complete design lifecycle. You will also support engineering builds globally.

o   Have knowledge of digital signal processing

o   Create innovative acoustic design scheme and set audio targets for future products

o   Perform audio regression tests on shipping products and generate audio performance reports

o   Validate hardware/software and debug issues

o   Develop automated test tools (Audio Precision, Klippel)

o   Attend and run cross-functional engineering meetings

o   Dive into and take ownership for critical design issues

o   Lead design reviews

o   Build design processes to continuously improve performance and quality

o   Travel to support engineering builds if needed

Basic Qualifications

·       College degree in Electrical Engineering, Acoustics, Physics, or a related field

·       3 years of experience in the occupation of Audio engineer, Acoustics engineer or a related occupation must include high volume manufacturing of consumer electronics.

·       2 years of experience with hardware development tools such as soldering irons, oscilloscopes, and signal analyzers

·       Current knowledge of portable device hardware architectures

·       Experience with multiple cycles of high volume platform or product design

·       Experience working with and managing OEM partners

Preferred Qualifications

·       College degree in Electronic Engineering or related field

·       5 years of relevant experience in audio technology development or integration

·       Experience with concepts of acoustic design, measurement instruments, and automation software like SoundCheck and Klippel, Audio Precision

·       DFx (cost, test, manufacturing) experiences

·       Experience in the following areas:

o   Audio signal processing

o   Audio electronics

o   Acoustic test and measurement

o   Experience with acoustic test instruments (e.g. Sound Check, Klippel, B&K, Audio Precision)

o   Subjective audio quality evaluation
