职位描述和要求:

About our Team:
This position is for an ESG Lead for the China region, part of Lenovo’s Legal organization. This is a new role that is being created to support increasing interest in ESG leadership from customers, investors, and others specifically in the China market.

What You’ll Do:
1. Lead and implement Lenovo’s environmental protection, social responsibility and corporate governance ("ESG") work in China;
2. Work closely with Lenovo Global ESG team and SMEs on driving local geo implementation of Lenovo’s Global ESG, to ensure the consistency in strategy/policy within Lenovo Group; support translation and promotion of Lenovo’s Corporate ESG Report in the China market; assist Global ESG team in developing content to reflect achievements of China regional organizations including manufacturing and other local operations;
3. Investigate and research key ESG topics including carbon neutrality and emission peak strategy/policy, climate change, water resiliency in support of UN CEO Water Mandate, liaise with Global team to share up-to-date information on key ESG topics, support Lenovo China in developing relevant strategies, standards, action plans and promotion plans in its own enterprise management and external business development
4. Coordinate with various departments of Lenovo China, such as Government Affairs team, Investor Relations team, Global Corporate Communications team, Marketing and Public Relations Department, Business Units, Strategy Department, Lenovo Foundation China, Lenovo Research Institute, etc., organizing Lenovo China ESG Annual Summit, compiling and publishing Lenovo China ESG Annual White Paper;
5. Communicate with ESG related central ministries, national top think-tanks, local governments and the international and domestic NGOs, take an active part and represent Lenovo in ESG related summits, seminars, BBS etc., facilitate Lenovo Group/China’s leaders’ attendance on representative and high-level ESG activities;
6. Actively implement applicableESG related preferential policies and special subsidies launched by Chinese governments at all levels, so as to promote the connection and development of Lenovo's related business in China and the work of ESG;
7. Gradually set up and manage a professional and capable Lenovo China ESG team, strive to improve the social awareness, brand reputation and government recognition of Lenovo Group in China ESG field, promote ESG work to become a powerful acting point for the rapid development of Lenovo China business.

Qualifications:
1、Master's degree or above, have studied or worked overseas (especially in the United States) for more than two years is preferred;
2、Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese, both verbal and written;
3、Possess overarching strategic height and perspective, keen policy insight, rigorous thinking, and strong self-driven execution;
4、Have extensive and profound connections with ESG related ministries and commissions of the central government and related scientific research institutes; have been engaged in government affairs in the world's top 500 companies or top Internet enterprises for a long time; and have held at least a director-level management position;
5、Rich experience in sustainable development-related work and high-quality resources, familiar with sustainable development-related strategy formulation, resource integration ability, and rich project execution and implementation ability. Good at pioneering, brave enough to meet challenges, with the ability to develop and execute from zero to one;
6、Excellent communication and coordination skills, be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing, and be capable to work under the complex organizational structure of a transnational corporation and coordinate between departments, liaise with teams from different nations;
7、Optimistic, positive, strong sense of responsibility, strong resistance to pressure, excellent team spirit, excellent closed-loop manager.
