We are looking for technically skilled and savvy candidates into our Factory Services customization engineering team.
Successful candidate will be
* Responsible to develop and test Operating System Solutions, BIOS Customization and
and verify them against specialized manufacturing processes
* Build custom software images based on customer specifications, migrate custom
Software images to new hardware platforms and configurations
* Must be able to create Windows OS images from scratch.
* This role will build custom images for Fortune 500 companies worldwide; must be able to
create images using various imaging tools (like Microsoft DISM, Windows ADK, Sysprep
creating custom OOBE, and a custom in-house manufacturing tool)

Minimum 3-4 years of experience in the IT field (Closely connected to hardware and OS)
* Thorough understanding of Windows OS
* In depth knowledge of HW systems
* Knowledge of multiple Imaging Tools
* Experience in the deployment and migration of WIN11
* Understanding of Office Suite
* Must work closely with sales teams.
* Will be working on several projects simultaneously.
* Fast paced environment but must be able to meet deadlines with high quality work and
must maintain the workflow.
* Experience and a good understanding of Imaging software such as ImageX, Dism, WAIK,
Sysprep
* Knowledge of Unattend.XML usage, registry and other locations for image customization.
* Hardware Skills
* Clear written and verbal communication is critical. (Japanese and some English)
* Customer skills. They will need to speak to sales team & clients to gather customer
specific requirements, educate the customer on the process and lastly follow through to
ensure the expectations of the customer have been met
* Ability to work independently based on customer requirements
* Create, modify, test, and verify custom Windows images for customers on ThinkPad,
ThinkCentre and ThinkStation hardware technology platforms.
* Some limited support for non-Lenovo hardware may be included based on customer
requirements.
* Project Management skills: Maintain project status, updates and timelines
Skills that would be a plus:
* Experience in SCCM / MDT - applications / packaging / driver management / task
sequence development / scripting and troubleshooting
* Ability to debug, strong troubleshooting skills
* Workstation/Desktop/Mobile Hardware experience
