4、评估联想产品成本并与供应商报价比较,支持采购经理和供应商谈判以降低报价;
5、收集笔记本电脑机构件成本相关信息,维护TEC 机构件成本数据库。
任职要求:
1、机械工程相关专业本科及以上学历;
2、三到五年笔记本电脑产品机构设计或成本评估经验;
3、团队合作精神;
4、较强数据分析和统计能力。熟练使用 Microsoft Excel;
5、较强英语沟通能力;
Position Description
1. The Mechanical Cost Engineer works cooperatively within a product competitive analysis team responsible for cost estimates of Lenovo and competitors notebook PC mechanical parts;
2. Work together with Ops, Development and Procurement to drive cost reduction opportunities to finally improve Lenovo product competitiveness;
3. Identify design-to-cost opportunities on Lenovo mechanical solutions that will yield cost savings for current and future Lenovo notebook computers;
4. Compare supplier “quotes” to “should-be cost estimates” for variances – communicate acquisition cost opportunities to GCM’s and support cost negotiations;
5. Collect data to update TEC mechanical cost database.
Position Requirements
1. BS in Mechanical Engineering;
2. 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering/mechanical cost engineering in the notebook PC industry
3. Strong team player – both internal and with cross-functional teams including Development, Procurement and Cost Managers
4. Skilled in Microsoft Excel, data analysis, and statistics
5. Strong communication skills for both verbal and written way in English and Chinese
Preferred requirements
1. Good knowledge in using Pro-E, Auto CAD;
2. Supply chain experience; Understanding of Manufacturing Value Add costs;
3. Design to “X” (cost, service, logistics, manufacturability, etc …) experience;
4. Lean six sigma expertise;
5. PMP certification;
6. Experience working in a global company.
