Lenovo is expanding its high scale world-wide UDS SaaS/PaaS Cloud Platform and Solutions and is looking for a Senior Cloud Architect to lead and drive architecture efforts associated with those initiatives. You’ll be part of highly dynamic agile software development team and will be involved in the architecture definition and development from the conceptual stages through the development cycle and deployments. Your responsibility will be to come up with state-of-the-art architecture designs and ensure that the development teams implement them correctly following the key guidelines.

We are looking for seasoned Cloud Architect with strong expertise in the following:

·         Public cloud infrastructure -- AWS, ALI and AZURE

·         Private cloud infrastructure – OpenStack and VMware

·         On-prem and edge deployments

Job Responsibilities：

1.     Design state of the art cloud architecture solutions based on Public (AWS/ALI/Azure) and Private cloud infrastructures

2.     Lead and drive key PRC cloud architecture initiatives related UDS Cloud Platform and associated SaaS/PaaS solutions

3.     Evangelize UDS Cloud and Solutions in PRC

4.     Demonstrate thought leadership in cloud architecture across multiple infrastructures and solutions and become a trusted advisor to development teams, product managers and executive teams

5.     Ensure adoption & conformance of the technical design and architecture principles

6.     Directly work with customers and sales team to architect outstanding cloud solutions for them based on UDS

7.     Support the Agile development life cycle

8.     Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity

9.     Travel may be required (20%) for meetings, workshops, technical reviews, and customer meetings.

Job Requirements:

1.     Bachelor’s degree in electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering, Masters/PHD preferred

2.     10+ years of experience designing Cloud Architecture and Solutions based on Public or Private Cloud Infrastructure

3.     Hands-on experience with Agile software development

4.     Strong problem-solving skills, hands-on individual

5.     Experience in all aspects of cloud computing (infrastructure, storage, platforms and data), as well as cloud market and competitive dynamics

6.     Expertise with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps in Agile environment

7.     Demonstrated understanding of the current state of the art for infrastructure automation, continuous integration/deployment, SQL/NoSQL/NewSQL, networking, and cloud-based delivery models.
