Job Description:
• Partner with LPS business HR team to ensure effective management of benefits portfolio including health and risk insurance, time off, well-being plans, pension and retirement plans, any other plans applicable based on the site.
• Work with external vendors to effectively negotiate competitive rates for benefit plans provided via vendors including brokers, insurers, pension provider etc.
• Responsible for ensuring that plans and their market positioning are regularly reviewed (detailed annual review and ad-hoc need-based review) .
• Keep track of the benefits experience for employees and take steps to identify and resolve any upcoming issues in early stage.
• Keep track of key topics of interest on benefits (in line with business and HR strategy, survey feedback etc, and align vendors to support key topics of interest).
• Drive mid-year and annual review process and ensure engagement/awareness of HR and key business leaders with the benefits offering, positioning, plan improvement opportunities, and cost of benefits.
• Work through the HR Ops team to ensure they understand their responsibilities clearly and complete them on time. HR Ops are generally responsible for ensuring enrollment data goes to providers accurately and timely, and benefits payments are processed on time. They also support the benefits team for any data requests from vendors for any plans, such as for pension liability evaluations.
• Responsible for effective benefits communication for employees. Directly responsible for providing annual benefits briefing sessions and making available updated benefits communication content, for HR Ops and HR Partner teams, and on Knowledge Base.
• Champion benefits programs and work through HR Partner teams to provide explanation/communication on benefits plans to employees and business on request basis.
• Responsible for participating in benefits benchmark surveys from Mercer, WTW, and SVEF; and for computing benefits cost ratios annually.
• Responsible for resolving 2nd level benefits escalations from employees.
Job Requirement:
• Strong influencing ability to work with and manage key stakeholders in HR and business, as well as influence and negotiate with external vendors.
• Ability to position their work in various forums with HR and business effectively.
• Strong communication effectively influence various stakeholders and ability to work independently for stakeholders based in other countries.
• Self-motivated and able to identify key impact areas, ability to identify, initiate and drive certain changes/updates on their own.
• Open minded, quick learning, strong sense of responsibility and a good team player, able to engage and influence matrix teams to deliver work effectively.
• Good attention to detail to understand varying benefits policies by country and to review communication documents, renewal proposals etc. accordingly.
• 5 year+ HR experience; MNC+benefits work experience will be a plus Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Office capability.
