Description and Requirements

Category Manager or SMB Segment Sales Manager is the co-owner and driver of the infrastructure solutions group (ISG) SMB business in France. As the Category Manager should be an experienced channel sales expert. You will be in charge of developing the SMB business through the channel.  You should have strong channel background, product  knwledge of Server and Storage, financials skills,  and also commercial skills. 


Your tasks: 

  • Owning and Managing the SMB P&L in the territory: Revenue, GTN budget and gross profit 
  • Product selection to address the SMB market and channel stocks, ie product management 
  • Product pricing: benchmarking vs. market and balancing profitability
  • MidMarket/SMB bid pricing 
  • Owning and introducing channel campaigns to expand reseller base and channel sales 
  • Co-managing relationship with the distributors and some of the resellers 
  • Gathering competitive data, market intelligence, for driving a smarter portfolio 
  • Planning the product marketing campaigns and driving the right marketing activities suitable for the given territory and aligning them with company strategy

Your responsibilities (position requirements): 

  • Experience in driving sales activities through distribution (the ISG SMB business is typically driven by the channel)
  • Experience with  business (commercial) management and 4P (product and pricing) management is required 
  • 5+ years of experience in  segment  / category management
  • Budget management experience  within SMB channel
  • Fluent in English (you will be a part of Lenovo EMEA team) 


You will report to EMEA SMB Sales Director of Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group. You will participate in weekly collaborative planning calls and meetings with key EMEA and market level stakeholders.
