Description and Requirements

Configuration, Deployment and Managed Services are part of Lenovo’s Professional Services strategy and is focused on delivering world-class services to help our customers maximize value of Lenovo devices.

Our service Portfolio consists of configuration, integration and support services, project management & deployment, installation & implementation, data migration and device retirement services for PC, Desktop and mobile devices. Lenovo also provides managed and outsourced services to our customers.

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect that can translate business and technical requirements into business outcome focused IT solutions that add real value. This role leads, owns and supports the pre-sales and delivery activities of digital, technology transformation solutions and services, including responses to large scale and complex customer opportunities, such as RFI and RFPs.

You will report to Services and Solutions Lead based in the country.

Position Requirements:

  • Scope customer and solution requirements through meetings, analysis, requirements workshops, customer visits, Use cases and scenarios
  • Translate the requirements into architectures & solutions delivered by Lenovo
  • Creates business case collateral and can create and cost solutions across the full end user space including physical deployment
  • Drives the technical certification and validation for all opportunities across customers solutions and architecture
  • Thinks and act strategically, anticipates future trends and develops solution visions
  • Challenges existing processes to ensure the best solution for the customer
  • Maintains current understanding of technology, tools and toolsets in the industry
  • Autonomously able to work across regions and functions to achieve results with minimal supervision and input
  • Develops, maintains, and cultivates strong trusted and meaningful customer relationships at all levels, through a deep understanding of their key business Issues

Candidate Requirements:           

  • Ability to interpret our customers’ business and technical requirements and translate them into IT services and solution which add real business value
  • A deep understanding of digital workplace architectures, in support of complex customer engagements, and transformation programs
  • End User workplace environment high level technical knowledge, including business value, use cases and migration
  • Has experience in creating and presenting business cases which outline business benefits and show value-add and cost savings
  • Experience in creating IT services’ cost models and can articulate and cost risk within the solution
  • 5+ years’ experience in requirements definition, and be experienced in project management, change management and problem solving in a service business environment. Industry recognized accreditations are a significant advantage in Consulting and Project Management frameworks, approaches, and methodologies
  • Highly articulate and professional in both oral and written communication, as well as presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills to achieve desired result needed to all levels of audience up to and including CXO
  • Experience with process improvements across regions within an organization required.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of executives, managers, customers, and other employees
  • Business fluent Spanish and English
