Description and Requirements



Lenovo Germany is hiring! We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Key Account Manager for our Strategic Retention Accounts in region North-Rhine Westfalia. In this position you will work collaboratively with the Inside Account Manager and Solution Architects to manage all strategic (pre)sales activities for a given set of strategic accounts. You will proactively work with the most senior decision makers at our clients and internal stakeholders to provide support of sales opportunities and ensures the appropriate portfolio of Lenovo products, services and software is solutioned to solve our client’s most complex business problems. You are the opportunity owner and the relationship manager both externally and internally.

You are also a leader: mapping the client strategy with the Lenovo portfolio, gaining and sharing expertise of vertical markets along with a deep understanding of the technologies that will generate future, tangible opportunities for Lenovo.

Your Key Roles & Responsibilities include:

  • Managing and owning the total customer relationship; responsible for revenue, share of wallet expansion, customer satisfaction and driving growth in assigned accounts
  • Understanding emerging technologies and products and Lenovo's strategies to address them
  • Identifying complex problems, collaborating with other functions and/or team members to support the design and implementation of solutions which address those problems
  • Maintaining executive relationships, proof through opportunity generation and reflect through professional account planning
  • Developing and maintaining territory plans which outline how sales targets will be met on an ongoing basis
  • Working at all levels within an organization to deliver against a quarterly sales incentive target
  • Reporting on sales activity and update in Dynamics 365
  • Conducting all sales activities with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity

You are integrated in the Enterprise Account team and will report to the Sales Manager Large Enterprise.
This is a band 8 position.

Position Requirements:
  • Sales experience in the IT market with a proven track record of success and a focus on workplace solutions
  • Knowledge of the scope of Lenovo’s products and services, industry trends, and the competitive landscape
  • Proven ability to contact, qualify, develop and close leads
  • Broad existing business network (partner / end customer) which will be relevant for efficient ramp up
  • Entrepreneurial personality, customer focused, and able to deliver exceptional solutions well beyond customer expectations
  • Collaborative working style and high commitment to get the job done
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in German and English language
