Description and Requirements

We are looking for someone who challenges the ordinary and seeks to innovate; a thought leader, innovator and trusted advisor. 

For our office in Zurich, we are looking for the Swiss Market Product Management Lead (d/f/m) who will be responsible for the Product, Placement, Price and Promotion of all Lenovo PC products in Switzerland. You will own detailed product requirements for the Lenovo Switzerland PC Product Portfolio, including building the category strategy and roadmap that delivers the business unit financial objectives. You will be an instrumental leader that interfaces with the cross-functional teams to drive execution towards defined milestone. You will have strong communication and presentation skills to influence the organization and to drive strong stakeholder buy-in. You will have an expertise in PC hardware, defining optimized solutions to meet cost/performance targets, a strong business acumen to define market opportunities and understanding what it takes to build a differentiated offering. You will lead a team of product managers in the commercial and consumer areas and collectively create great stories for developing positioning, messaging, and content across all channels that highlight the business value of Lenovo products. 

Primary Responsibilities: 
• Drive initiatives to maximize mix, margin and overall product contribution to the portfolio & business (P&L responsibility) 
• Responsible for building, implementing & executing country’s product demand generation programs, which align to quarterly & annual financial goals 
• Effectively manage product transitions with a view to maximizing revenue & profit 
• Ensure accurate forecasting for relevant products; co-owner (with Sales) for country’s forecast 
• Evaluate performance against plan at appropriate intervals (e.g. daily, weekly) and instigate corrective actions to keep country on track to achieve LOB goals 
• Provide relevant input to the annual & quarterly planning cycles by LOB key financials (Platform Mix, Units, AUR, Rev$, Margin$) 
• Identify opportunities to partner with alliances to grow business 
• Effectively differentiate Lenovo offerings from competitive alternatives and create distinct customer preference for Lenovo offerings; Know when to bring elements of competitors' offerings or products into the equation to create the highest yielding deal for the customer and Lenovo 
• Determine customer needs through participation in Sales & Customer meetings; Recommend and position appropriate products to customers/Partners 
• Deliver clearly defined business plans that outline product roadmap, investments, project plans, and expected profitability goals for the products in the portfolio. 
• Drive the overall product vision, strategy and execution of the multi-year portfolio strategy that supports the Business Unit financial objectives 
• Drive alignment across various internal stakeholders including sales and marketing functions to realize the shared goals of the product level financial plan. 
• Define the target market segmentation and addressable market sizing for your portfolio 
• Deliver thought leadership, content and tools for sales enablement, marketing campaigns and web that align with different buyers & segments for our solutions. Develop the “story” for key industry moments, campaigns, major partner summits, customer advisory councils, etc. 
• Guide creation of materials for market education, sales acceleration, partner enablement and thought leadership. 
• Execute all aspects of the product life cycle including initial marketing requirements, concept, plan, market definition and opportunity, development phases through the financially committed stage and in-market performance tracking tied to the product business commitment 
• Be an expert with respect to the competition and viewed as an industry thought leader via Social Media and other platforms 
• Part of the local Swiss management team

Position Requirements: 
• Similar Work Experience in the past with proven track record, Strong understanding of product life cycle management 
• Demonstrated product leadership you can build the case for investment, identify key trade-offs, make the tough decisions, and build alignment around a vision. 
• Good understanding of PC and Notebook products and technology. Servers an advantage 
• Excellent people management skills & experience Strong understanding of promotional programs mechanics for SMB markets 
• Experience operating in an entrepreneurial environment and scaling new and emerging products 
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, partnering with groups across marketing as well as in Sales, Engineering and Product Management 
• Be comfortable working with data and articulate financial business plans. 
• Demonstrated ability to define and document a product line strategy, investment thesis, and overall business plan 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presence 
• Proven ability to influence and drive cross-functional teams without formal authority 
• Ability to travel up to 25% 
• Fluent in German/Swiss-German and English; French is a plus
