Description and Requirements

The team in Lenovo who develops and brings the legendary ThinkPad notebook PCs to market across the world is hiring! We are looking for an AI PC Business Dev & Engagement Manager who will be responsible for driving on-device AI solutions as part of Lenovo's Commercial PC organization. This role involves working closely with our Portfolio & Software team to ensure we leverage the full potential of AI in meeting our clients' evolving needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer-facing presence, acting as an AI expert while also working to drive AI adoption at our customer accounts. With a commitment to excellence and a passion for driving industry transformation, we are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert in AI for PC solutions, particularly in commercial settings.
  • Educate and advise customers, sales teams, and partners on the capabilities of Commercial AI PCs and their application in enterprise environments.
  • Engage with customers to understand pain points and identify key AI requirements, providing insights that drive product development and enhancement.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and business units including Portfolio, Software Development & Services to develop comprehensive solution offerings for AI PCs tailored to enterprise needs.
  • Work alongside pre-sales teams and independent software vendors (ISVs) to conceptualize, develop, and execute external and internal Proof of Concepts (PoCs) that showcase the effectiveness and viability of AI PC capabilities.
  • Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies related to AI and PC solutions, integrating relevant insights into business strategies and product roadmaps.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in product management, business development, or consulting roles within the technology sector
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Strong understanding of PC hardware, software, or AI technologies, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence decision-making at all levels of an organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving collaborative initiatives across diverse teams and functions, delivering results in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Strategic mindset with a keen analytical ability, capable of synthesizing market insights and customer feedback to drive innovation and business growth.
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies, trends, and their applications in the Enterprise IT industry is a plus.

This position will be based in our North America Headquarters in Raleigh, NC.  Our office has transitioned to a hybrid work environment supporting 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
