Description and Requirements


Lenovo Intelligent Computing Orchestration (LiCO) is a Lenovo-developed software solution that simplifies the management and use of distributed clusters for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and High Performance Computing (HPC) environments.

We are looking for Software Engineers to design and implement new systems and features for LiCO, as well as modify and maintain existing systems for adaptation to business and/or technology changes. The Software Engineer engages directly with product management, development teams, professional service teams, and vendors to ensure the successful design, development, and delivery of Lenovo HPC/AI solutions (LiCO).


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of programming experience.
  • Excellent web development experience with Python, including frameworks such as Django, RabbitMQ, and MySQL.
  • Proficient in Linux and shell development.
  • Knowledge of HPC schedulers (Slurm, LSF, PBS, etc.) and applications (MPI, OpenMP, Ansys, etc.) is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of AI (ML or DL) and experience with AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.) is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Singularity, Podman, etc.) is preferred.
  • Broad experience designing, programming, and implementing large information systems.
  • Ability to provide in-depth evaluation and analysis of unique complex technological issues.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
