Lenovo’s Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) is seeking an accomplished professional to serve as an AI Solution Specialist. This role will support the development and execution of AI and edge computing solutions in collaboration with key partners and stakeholders within Lenovo. Lenovo ISG is experiencing rapid growth and expanding business opportunities, requiring a capable individual to navigate and support this dynamic, evolving environment. The AI Solution Specialist will play a pivotal role in executing the deployment, technical certification, and documentation of advanced AI and edge computing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Shape and define solution requirements through meetings, analysis, workshops, partner visits, use cases, and scenarios to ensure alignment with business and technical goals.
Translate requirements into comprehensive architectures and solution designs that address AI and edge computing needs.
Develop business case collateral, including costing solutions across the end-user space, and manage deployment tools, processes, and personnel.
Drive the technical certification, validation, and deployment of AI and edge computing solutions across customer architectures.
Work autonomously across regions and functions to deliver impactful results with minimal supervision.
Cultivate trusted, meaningful partner relationships at all levels by demonstrating a deep understanding of their key business and AI-related challenges.
Work with cross-functional teams to develop solution content that helps users understand and use our products effectively.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering, or similar
At least 3 years of experience in the Server Solutions environment.
At least 5 years of hands-on experience building and maintaining AI and edge computing solutions.
Strong experience collaborating with strategic partners, demonstrating high-level technical knowledge in AI, business value, use cases, and solution migration.
Previous experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and computer vision technologies.
In-depth understanding of datacenter and edge computing technologies, including hardware and management software.
Proficiency in Kubernetes, container orchestrators, and other containerization technologies for managing edge and AI workloads.
Proven ability to work with central datacenter and edge computing hardware, as well as associated management tools.
Proficiency in Linux, Windows, VMware, and relevant scripting tools.
Excellent communication, presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
