Position Description

We are seeking for an Account Manager to join our Enterprise sales team North (preferred Hamburg / Hannover) and take over full responsibility for a defined customer set, making proposals, pricing and finally managing the overall customer relationships. The position combines inside sales and field activities and includes:

  • Leading the account planning process (account planning and opportunity identification)
  • Taking profit and loss responsibility of the assigned customers
  • Building and maintaining senior executive relationships
  • Planning and facilitating and/or conduct complex negotiations
  • Presenting the Lenovo product portfolio, taking individual customer requirements into account
  • Maintaining interlock with Lenovo's Business Partners in the appropriate tools
  • Close collaboration with the supporting functions

Position Requirements

  • Proven track record of successful sales experience in the IT industry
  • Good knowledge of the commercial PC Market and of Supply Chain Management
  • University degree in business administration, information technology or similar subjects
  • Proactive working Environment
  • Applies comprehensive understanding of sales processes and sales management techniques
  • Demonstrates a professional knowledge of business acumen, including an understanding of the customers' business, industry, economic trends, issues and competition
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
  • Applies creativity in developing new approaches and solutions

The position is Home-Office based (preferred location: Hamburg / Hannover).
