Description and Requirements

This role is open primarily for Madrid office location.


Lenovo Financial Services (LFS) Business Development Managers are responsible for representing Lenovo’s financial services offerings to our customers in support of our global ‘as a Service’ business. 

Your primary focus is to identify, grow, support & drive new Lenovo DaaS and Leasing opportunities for Lenovo EMEA. The opportunities will primarily emanate from a range of accounts across our Global Accounts, key accounts, and via our channel partners. The BDM will work with our Lenovo DaaS & GEO sellers plus our LFS partners as well as internal finance and treasury groups to drive unique and advanced structures & offers as well as funding strategies. 


You will report to the Global Director of Lenovo Financial Services.

This role will be based in Spain and carry responsibility for IBERIA and Italy.


What You will do:

  • Volume of equipment funded either directly by Lenovo or by our approved Lenovo Financial Services partners.
  • Playing a key role in supporting the Lenovo DaaS and TruScale businesses in achieving their business objectives and targets.
  • Working internally with all financial services and Lenovo business stakeholders.


Key Requirements: 

  • 6+ years of experience in technology leasing. Both captive and third-party experience. 
  • Proven track record in achieving sales objectives. Specifically, large, global type customer set. 
  • Experience at the “C-level” face-to-face interaction. 
  • Experience in direct lease products and managed services agreements; structure, pricing, and funding. 
  • Strong communication, negotiation and internal selling skills. 
  • Understanding of FASB 842 and various accounting rulings. 
  • Effective organization, time management, and follow-up skills 
  • Understanding of residuals and pricing methodology 
  • Understanding of financial statements and ability to structure transactions to match the risk profile
