Description and Requirements

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounting Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will take responsibility and ownership of establishing accounting standards, driving continuous improvement, and cost reduction activities. This role involves active participation in month-end closing, reconciliation, inventory-related activities, and both external and internal audits.


Your responsibilities :

  • Follow and improve accounting standards (local/global).
  • Develop plant operation workflows based on accounting standards.
  • Manage and reconcile the general ledger.
  • Prepare manual invoices.
  • Support month-end closing and operational activities.
  • Implement and maintain methodologies for accounting and reconciliations.
  • Lead complex problem-solving activities and projects involving different departments.

What you bring : 

  • Economic degree or equivalent business experience, with 8-10 years of experience in accounting within a manufacturing company.
  • Strong experience in industrial accounting, complex problem-solving, and supporting GL reconciliation and closing processes for multiple companies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, spreadsheet, and data analysis; SAP experience is an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with customer-facing experience both by phone and email.
  • Ability to work in small teams and wider global teams, showing enthusiasm for change and adaptability.
  • Highly motivated individual with the ability to work on their own initiative and meet strict deadlines.
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal).
