Description and Requirements

The main responsibilities of the role are:


  • Carry out statutory preparation and audit work for countries within the EMEA region
  • Preparation of all fiscal reports, including annual statutory accounts
  • Liaison with local and central external auditors and successful completion of annual statutory audits
  • Liaison with internal and external tax advisors regarding the preparation of the CIT returns
  • Regional reference point for accounting information and controls
  • Responding to day to day accounting queries
  • Month end routines (such revenue-cost-match exercise, etc.) and journal submission
  • Follow up with Finance and outsourcing team on the closing progress and report to EMEA chief and Finance.
  • Ensuring accuracy and integrity of accounting information in the designated EMEA countries’ ledgers. Ultimate responsibility for the data contained therein.
  • Assist with related peer review process of balance sheet reconciliations including VAT
  • Liaison with other stakeholders (local Finance & Planning teams, Tax team, HR and other outsourced service providers)
  • Ad hoc project work as and when required

Requirements for the position are:


  • Ability to work independently and prioritize workload as part of a geographically dispersed team
  • Relevant Accounting qualification
  • Prior relevant experience in preparation of statutory financial statements and statutory audit work is mandatory
  • Good accounting investigation and analytical skills
  • Good written and spoken business English and Slovak and or other European languages
  • Good IT skills

Base gross monthly salary from minimum 1600 EUR and above, depending on experience + variable part 12% of your annual earnings
