Description and Requirements

Do you enjoy creating and executing a integrated marketing plan? Does measuring the impact of your efforts on acquisition and retention so you can celebrate or modify your plan excite you? Do you enjoy connecting with teams across the globe to make an impact on education? If so, our acquisition marketing manager role might the right one for you. We are looking for a confident self-starter  who can activate the marketing plan to support Lenovo software product offerings including LanSchool. Applicants should be execution minded with a drive to get results.

Job Responsibilities:

Marketing Acquisition Strategy & Execution:  

  • Develops marketing efforts designed to accelerate revenue, increase retention or build awareness through an integrated plan aligned to education.
  • Develops integrated marketing campaigns which are comprised of lead generation, lead acceleration, awareness, and retention elements in all stages of the buying cycle

Lead Management to drive MQLs: Defines and drives MQL strategy and executes to the marketing plan.

  • Responsible for marketing activation to generate New Contacts, Reactivated Contacts, and Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) that become Sales Qualified Opportunities (SQOs) that deliver pipeline and revenue

Sales and Channel Enablement: 

  • Enables the direct and channel sales force with audience insights, campaign strategy, and specific collateral to effectively support the go-to-market strategy
  • Educate sales and channel partners about marketing opportunities, best practices, and techniques

Serves as the marketing Liaison to Lenovo EDU

  • Aligns with sales and marketing teams across Lenovo to share the marketing plan and gather feedback to drive the planning process.

General Marketing activities across channels

  • May be responsible for operations and logistics of marketing activities, events and/or campaigns in accordance with the marketing plan
  • Works with a team to develop a comprehensive marketing plan that includes a variety of content, events, webinars, email, social media and innovative campaign approaches.
  • Manages to the budget, with an eye on maximizing utilization and impact of funds. Provides suggestion for revision to increase marketing impact and ROI.


  • 5+ years experience in B2B marketing, preferably to education

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, related discipline

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Teams)

  • Proficient in or similar CRM system

  • Experience with marketing automation, HubSpot a plus

  • Experience in planning and executing live and OnDemand webinars

  • Effective Alliance/Vendor Management

  • Some experience in the edtech or education market with knowledge of what resonates with multiple types of decision makers is a plus
