Description and Requirements
The Job
- Monitor the network infrastructure and identify and troubleshoot network issues.
- Implement solutions to resolve/mitigate network issues.
- Provide 1st tier technical support for network-related issues.
- Collaborate with 2nd tier technical support for issue escalation.
- Engage and develop positive relationships with customers and partners.
- Document updates on network configurations, inventory, changes, and procedures.
- Respond to network-related emergencies.
- Willingness to work in shift duty (12 hours) to support 24/7 operations.
The Person
- Higher diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- CCNP/HCIP or equivalent is a must
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a network engineer or equivalent.
- Holder of a valid Hong Kong driving license (Class 2) is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
- Familiarity with network hardware, such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Immediately available is an advantage
