Summary
The successful candidate will participate in a Digital Transformation Project for the largest
telecommunications company in Hong Kong – by transforming the legacy systems through the latest
digital solution on agile architecture to support the customer Experience via innovative functions and
features.
Job Duties
She / He will be responsible for defining software frameworks, development methods and tools to
support advanced digital solutions. She / He will be involved in developing application software and
supporting frameworks with the following scope of duties:
· Assist solution lead to manage the overall solution from technical perspective and support technical
design and technical testing by providing guidelines and assistance to enable solution development
and implementation.
· Build and cultivate relationship with stakeholders including users and senior technical individuals
from both development teams and user groups.
· Act as a technical liaison between users, technical teams, and support.
· Work with other analysts and guide developers to develop and maintain application programs.
· Ensure smooth development, implementation, migration, and application support of the whole
solution.
The Person
· Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
· A minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT profession and the year experience in Telecom Domain will
be an advantage.
· Experience in least 3 of the following skill sets is preferable: Java, Java Spring framework, REST API,
XML, PLSQL, C/pro-C, Python, Groovy, Cobol and shell script.
· Prior exposure to various billing applications / modules for telecom industry such as CRM
integration, CDR rating, Roaming, OCS, online Payment, PCI-DSS will be an advantage.
· Experience in either Oracle BRM or quadient package solution is advantageous.
· Effective verbal and written communication in English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
