We’re looking for an Advisory Technical Support Engineer within the Advanced Services Delivery Group at Lenovo. In this role you will work directly with Technical Support teams responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting server related issues.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Triage enterprise server hardware and software issues
  • Work with clients on agreed maintenance windows
  • Proactive and reactive support for servers
  • Perform firmware, driver, and operating system updates remotely

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachalors Degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience in server maintenance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced Linux skills (Red Hat/SUSE); Certifications are preferred
  • Ability to perform firmware and driver updates in live client environments
  • Ability to work a flexibly work schedule
  • Ability to be adapatble and coachable
 

The base salary range for this position in Colorado, New York City, Nevada and Washington, is $90,000 - $110,000. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission. Lenovo’s various benefits can be found on www.lenovobenefits.com.
