Description and Requirements

As the Alliance Partner Marketing Manager leader, this role is sponsible for managing Lenovo’s Services and Solutions group (SSG) partner co-marketing plans from strategy to execution. This role develops and implements marketing strategies that deliver significant ROI and meet performance goals, as well as manages partner programs. You will influence the overall marketing plans by collaborating with Marketing team members to plan and deploy partner marketing initiatives using partner funds.



Primary Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key partners (i.e. NVIDIA, Intel, Microsoft) to drive mutual growth and success.
  • Partnership Development: Identify new partners, fostering alliances that align with the business unit’s strategic goals, across all SSG. 
  • Acquire Funding:  This role will be foundational to securing a multi-million Marketing budget a year in partner funding, and facilitating the funding needed for offering development.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement partnership strategies that align with Lenovo’s objectives and market opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., ISG, product, marketing) to ensure alignment and coordination in partner activities.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Develop joint marketing campaigns and promotional activities with partners to enhance brand visibility and drive revenue growth.
  • Budget Management: Oversee and manage budget allocations for partnership programs and initiatives, ensuring effective use of resources.
  • Monitor Performance: Track and evaluate the performance of partner relationships, including sales performance, marketing effectiveness, and overall ROI.
  • Gather Feedback: Collect feedback from partners and internal teams to continuously improve partnership strategies and processes.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present reports on partnership performance, including key metrics and insights, to senior management.

Key Deliverables:

  • Comprehensive funding strategies and pitches, as well as marketing plans and enablement strategy.
  • Ongoing marketing management, and alliance performance.
  • Track, measure, and report on marketing activities and programs (ROI).
  • Geo activation.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in technology or industry Business Development, Channel Alliances, or Partner Sales roles
  • 5+ years of Marketing experience in technology services, as-a-Service business models, or solutions to b2b customers
  • People management experience (cross-functional) and/or leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a global organization.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and thrive in challenging situations.
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills dealing with technical topics.
  • Exceptional communication, writing, and editing skills with the ability to communicate simply and authentically at Executive levels.
  • Aptitude for technology and the ability to connect technical concepts with customer value.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in marketing, business studies, or an equivalent major preferred + technical studies or equivalent.





The base salary range budgeted for this position in CA, CO, Jersey City - NJ, NV, Ithaca - NY, NYC, WA, is $150- $175k.  Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission.
