Lenovo is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Manager to oversee and optimize our Amazon and Ecommerce strategy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving profitable growth, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving initiatives to maximize share, mix, margin, and overall product contribution to the accessory’s portfolio, working closely with sales and marketing team. This role requires leadership, strategic vision, innovation, collaboration, communications excellence, operational discipline, and insights needed to thrive in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment.
Business Responsibilities:
- Deliver Amazon business results working in collaboration with sales, operation partner
- Align with North America category team and Accessory BU to set key quarterly/annual business objectives including units/share, revenue and profit
- Review current strategy, align with operation partner for continuous areas of improvement
- Drive initiatives to grow increase mix, margin and overall product contribution to the portfolio & business
- Evaluate performance against plan at appropriate intervals (e.g., weekly, monthly) and make corrective actions to keep on track to achieve goals. Present details to management teams on a regular basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive business strategy to drive growth and profitability on Amazon.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Set clear objectives and key results to align with overall business goals.
- Product Portfolio Management:
- Optimize product assortment based on performance data and customer feedback.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure product availability and competitiveness.
- Manage pricing strategies to balance competitiveness with profitability.
- Marketing and Promotions:
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns, including Amazon Sponsored Products and Deals.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Enhance product listings with compelling content and high-quality images.
- Operational Excellence:
- Oversee inventory management to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Ensure timely order fulfillment and address any logistical challenges.
- Maintain high standards of customer service, promptly resolving issues and handling returns.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilize Amazon analytics tools to track sales performance, customer behavior, and market trends.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and actionable insights.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, operations, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment and support.
- Participate in product development discussions to provide insights on market needs and opportunities.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- 6+ years of experience in managing Amazon 3P business or a similar e-commerce
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of Amazon Seller Central, FBA, and e-commerce operations, familiarity with Amazon's advertising, promotional tools and collaborating/managing operation partner
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft office, PowerPoint, Excel (V/X-LOOKUP), Data Visualization, Pivot table’s, etc)
- Proficiency in data analysis and performance marketing.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience in the consumer goods or retail industry.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and operational improvements.
- Strong interpersonal skill & keen attention to details
This position is based in our North America Headquarters in Morrisville, NC. Our office has transitioned to a hybrid work environment supporting 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
