Description and Requirements

We are looking for a talented Industry Analyst Relations Manager for our new Solutions and Services Group (SSG) to help shape Lenovo’s journey in service-led transformation.

This role will be the trusted, go-to end-to-end owner and advisor of tech industry analyst relations for SSG. They will be part of a seasoned, diverse and lean team of global communications professionals committed to strategizing and executing external and internal communications and reporting into the Director of Communications within the business unit. 
 

Responsibilities: 

  • Developing strategy and end-to-end execution of industry analyst relations programs that drive both valuable inbound industry analyst insight as well as outbound awareness of Lenovo's SSG business.

  • Proactively building, managing and strengthening trusted relationships with key tech industry analysts.

  • Managing in-person/virtual/hybrid briefings and events.

  • Co-manage earnings-related communications with the Communications Director and Internal Communications Manager, including quarterly, post-earnings analyst briefings

  • Compiling, synthesizing and reporting on key industry analyst insights and recommendations to senior leadership to influence business strategy and decisions.

  • Managing budget and measuring outcomes through analytical tools.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams for consensus and implementation of plans.

  • Managing the project to submit, organize and document industry awards and accolades SSG secures, as well as, superlatives – working closely with Product and Product Marketing teams.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree and a minimum 8+ years of analyst or analyst relations experience in the technology industry.

  • Strong network of technology and business analyst contacts.

  • Experience in being articulate, confident and tactful in interacting with senior leadership - from presenting strategy plans to facilitating executive briefings.

  • Comfortable driving projects end-to-end, from strategy through hands-on execution.

  • Collaborative nature with the flexibility to work across a complex, global organization with colleagues across different time zones.

  • Intermediate to advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills, with the ability to summarize details quickly and sell business ideas through presentations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Have strong project management skills in multitasking multiple priorities and take end-to-end ownership of programs.

  • Be a strategic thinker as well as a practical doer, comfortable with rolling up your sleeves to get things done with limited resources.

  • Be able to make strategic, prudent decisions, sometimes with high degree of ambiguity.

  • Proven ability to manage key business stakeholders across a variety of situations and issues being able to course-correct and influence stakeholders in a fast-paced environment against fast-breaking developments and timelines.

  • Constantly think outside the box and be entrepreneurial in pursuing new ideas and better ways of doing the job - with a sharp eye for detail.


The location is flexible and can be based in-person in Lenovo's Morrisville (Raleigh-Durham) headquarters or remotely, where the industry analyst relations manager will collaborate virtually with teams across North America, Asia, Europe and Latin America.

The base salary range for this position in CA, CO, Jersey City - NJ, NV, Ithaca - NY, NYC, WA, is $110,000 - $155,000.  Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission. Lenovo’s various benefits can be found on www.lenovobenefits.com.
