Description and Requirements

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and deployment of technical controls to protect Lenovo. 
  • Conduct project technical security assessments and provide guidance. 
  • Conduct third party security assessments. 
  • Create and maintain technical security standards. 
  • Assist in incident response processes.  
  • Security operations assistance as needed. 
  • Domestic and international travel may be required (5%) for technical meetings, workshops, and on-site collaboration activities. 
  • Bring a passion to learn and stay on top of cyber security threats and trends. 
  • Bring discipline and dedication to ensure programs are secure and meet goals. 

Job Requirements 

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information technology, Information Security or related software engineering field, or equivalent experience. 
  • General knowledge of cyber security controls frameworks (e.g. IS027001, NIST) 
  • 2 to 3 years of technical experience in at least one of the following:
    • Network design, deployment, and administration 
    • System administration (Linux or Windows) 
    • Security engineering 
  • Plus 1 or more years cyber security and/or information security principles related experience 
  • Hands-on experience with a wide range of security tools. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Technical experience in modern cloud environments
  • Technical experience leading global security initiatives 
  • Cyber Security operations and incident response 
  • Vulnerability management
