Description and Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop acoustic system design concepts to achieve product performance requirements
- Define, build, and characterize physical prototypes of acoustic systems
- Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical and Software engineering team members to design, build, and test audio product lines
- Define, specify, and validate production test equipment and processes
- In charge of the definition and evaluation of audio functions (VoiceCall, VOIP Call, AOV, Recording, Music player..audio processing in general)
- Execute needed acceptance tests and certifications
- In charge of NA carrier (T-mobile, AT&T, Spirent, Verizion), EU carrier (Vodafone, DTAG, Orange) acoustic lab entry test and issue debug
- Work directly with engineering teams to tune and optimize system audio performance, including voice call, VOIP call, recording, music player, voice wake up and so on.
- In charge of ODM vendor acoustic/audio performance management.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge in standards (ETSI, TIA, FCC, IUT, 3GPP) including audio measurements standards
- Strong knowledge in carrier (T-mobile, AT&T, Spirent, Verizion, Vodafone, DTAG, Orange) including audio measurements standards
- Fluent in acoustic measurement system ACQUA from Head Acoustics
- Strong experience in QUALCOMM audio processing algorithm and familiar how to tune it.
- Strong knowledge of hardware development methodologies and in particular electronic design
- Strong experience in audio and acoustics. This includes not only electronic aspects but also related software fields (codec, compression…),
- Strong experience in audio components, including transductors,
- Mechanical constraints knowledge
- Good knowledge in digital and analog electronic design
- Good knowledge of digital electronic and transmission test equipment.
- English proficiency in reading, writing and speaking
Nice to have:
- General knowledge in Enterprise market
- Project management experience
