Description and Requirements

Role Overview:

This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining automated reporting solutions to support business decision-making. The candidate will work closely with data teams to extract, process, and present data in a meaningful way, ensuring efficiency and accuracy through automation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain automated reporting solutions using scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or similar).
  • Work with data teams to extract, manipulate, and process data from various sources (SQL databases, APIs, spreadsheets).
  • Design and automate the creation of reports (Excel or web-based) based on business requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and debug automation scripts to ensure the accuracy and reliability of generated reports.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify reporting needs and suggest improvements for reporting processes.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of automated reporting systems for scalability and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in programming or scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, or similar).
  • Experience with SQL or database querying and data manipulation.
  • Familiarity with report generation tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.) and automation frameworks.
  • Ability to understand and troubleshoot data processing issues and automate repetitive tasks.
  • Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of business intelligence and analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Experience interfacing with and managing remote servers
  • Fluent English level
