Description and Requirements

We are looking for a self-driven Business Development Manager with a sales experience and hunting mind in IT industry.

This position reports to Sr Sales Manager for Mobile Business Group SEE region. 


As a B2B Business Development Manager you will be required to:

  • learn fast and in detail all Motorola B2B products and services (upcoming or already launched)
  • generate new business and drives sales via:
    1. Direct B2B engagement (independently but also working with the Lenovo PC Team)
    2. Indirect – working with all Major Telecom Operators
    3. Public Tender – successfully respond to tender requirements.
  • formulate concrete plans to achieve the expected objectives
  • manage business development pipeline (own and manage forecasting and reporting within Lenovo dedicated Sales Force tools)
  • successfully deliver training sessions to partner sales force
  • define, propose and organize events, with support of the marketing team, to foster customer and partner interaction.
  • act as the first line of interaction for all B2B customers raised topics (including possible complaints)


To be successful in this role you should have:

  • 3+ years sales experience within the technology industry, with exposure to high volume sales
  • understanding of Operators, IT systems, IT industry players and local market
  • knowledge of large-scale relationship management with large corporate businesses
  • you know how to formulate, negotiate and close large and complex deals at a high level across multiple industry sectors
  • you enjoy working in a complex cross-functional environment – You will be cooperating with “virtual teams” & colleagues of different nationalities
  • you can negotiate and influence others – You will be closing deals with customers
  • fluency in Romanian and English – You will speak English with the internal team every day

Considered as a plus but it’s not mandatory to have:

  • knowledge of business customers & the PC industry – an ideal candidate would actually come directly from the smartphone industry, however any IT/electronic products knowledge is a plus
  • worked for an operator or mobile vendor in the B2B business unit
