The BDM for Workstations & Smart Collaboration is responsible for driving Lenovo’s sales strategy and execution for high-performance Workstations and Smart Collaboration solutions (e.g., ThinkStation, ThinkPad P Series, collaboration devices) in the assigned region. This role combines strategic planning, technical expertise, and sales enablement to achieve revenue targets, expand market share, and strengthen Lenovo’s leadership in the professional-grade computing and hybrid work solutions space.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership: Own and execute the regional sales plan for Workstations & Smart Collaboration solutions, ensuring alignment with global and local business objectives.
Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities in key verticals (e.g., engineering, architecture, media/entertainment, finance) through targeted B2B strategies.
Commercial Strategy: Develop and implement pricing, promotions, and channel programs to drive adoption and profitability.
Product Expertise: Serve as the regional SME (subject-matter expert) for Workstations and Smart Collaboration technologies, providing training and enablement to sales teams, partners, and end customers.
Partner Management: Build and nurture relationships with key distributors, VARs (Value-Added Resellers), and ISVs (Independent Software Vendors) to drive joint go-to-market initiatives.
Performance Analytics: Monitor sales KPIs, pipeline health, and market trends to optimize tactics and report progress to stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, product teams, and supply chain to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and demand generation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or technical certifications a plus.
5+ years in B2B sales/business development, preferably in high-end computing (workstations, servers, SaaS) or collaboration technologies.
Proven track record in managing complex sales cycles and enterprise-level partnerships.
Deep understanding of ISV certifications (e.g., AutoCAD, Adobe, SolidWorks) and hybrid work trends.
Strong analytical skills and familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
Fluent in [local language + English]; exceptional presentation skills.
