Description and Requirements

Job Responsibilities

1. Bootloader, peripheral firmware and real-time operating system security test

2. Black box and gray box audit of BIOS and bootloader of mainstream PCs, notebooks, and tablets

3. Research on isolation technology and vulnerability mitigation measures for embedded and low-resource environment structures

4. Analysis and utilization of known BIOS/Firmware vulnerabilities

5. Export patents and research reports

6. Cooperate with other departments of Lenovo to develop cross-functional technologies and plans to enhance product safety

job requirements:

1. At least 5 years of work experience in vulnerability mining.

2. C/C++ language programming experience.

3. Have development experience in at least one restricted runtime environment, such as system boot, EFI, firmware, embedded operating system, or real-time operating system.

4. Familiar with intel or arm processor architecture.

5. Familiar with low-speed bus (I2C, LPC, UART) related knowledge.

6. Possess powerful reverse analysis capabilities and debugging methods.

7. Familiar with common binary vulnerabilities mining methods.

8. Can communicate with foreign teams in English fluently.


1. CVE in related fields is a bonus item.
