Description and Requirements

Our team is developing a microservices based platform which aims to bring the “as a service” experience into our customer’s datacenters and offload them from the burden of running complex IT systems so they can focus on bringing value to their customers.

We are seeking a highly motivated engineer with strong skills in software development and cloud-native technologies to help us build microservices that will help our customers:

  • Manage hardware infrastructure.  
  • Orchestrate software updates and configurations for data center servers.  
  • Provision virtualized workloads in various bare-metal clusters.  
  • Deploy the latest observability technologies to automate monitoring and capacity planning.  
  • Benefit from innovative support capabilities, including automatic problem detection and troubleshooting.   

In this position, you will:

  • Develop microservices responsible of analyzing different types of data; write normalization APIs that will insert or retrieve data into/from different databases or other applications
  • Write code to query data for analytics purposes
  • Write code according to team quality standards
  • Propose technical solutions and take part in discussions and design planning meetings
  • Be able to work independently without too much supervision
  • Be proactive, willing to learn and assume responsibilities

Apply if you have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
  • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience of Node.js and frameworks available for it
  • Knowledge of Angular 2+;
  • Experience with REST APIs & RESTful architecture, HTTP(S) protocol
  • Experience with virtual resources: virtual machines and containers (Docker & Kubernetes)
  • Minimal Linux experience is mandatory
  • Unit Testing knowledge
  • Networking knowledge
  • Knowledge of relational & non-relational databases
  • Knowledge of source code control systems. GIT is preferred
  • Excellent English speaking and writing skills
  • Investigation and debugging skills
  • Ability to problem solve, analyze data and make recommendations and solutions.
  • Good communication skills and willingness and ability to work in a global team environment.
