Description and Requirements

Lenovo’s Executive Briefing Center (EBC) is looking to hire a Briefing Specialist for the Morrisville Center with an innovative mindset and customer centric approach. The Briefing Specialist will:

  • Communicate Customer Center value, contributions, and success rates to educate executives, sales leaders, and sellers on opportunities available for their customers and partners via participation in team, staff, and cross segment calls as well as face to face presentations and written content for internal tools.
  • Represent the North America International Sales Organization (ISO) and provide “white glove” customer experiences and demonstrating a One Lenovo mindset that focuses on Lenovo’s solutions, products and services.
  • Plan and execute customer/partner briefings including agenda development, scheduling, speaker availability, speaker prep calls, as well as other logistical details to include day of support for a seamless, exceptional customer experience.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experience virtually, in-person or in a hybrid briefing environment.
  • Collaborate with sales-facing teams to create and refine briefing topics to ensure the EBC is aware of top-of-mind subjects for customers.
  • Collaborate with team members to collect, tag and track customer opportunity data for the center to report on ROI
  • Regularly interlock with North America and global product, services, and software teams across all business units to keep current on briefing topics, trends, new customer areas of interest to update and evolve the briefing program
  • Support Lenovo’s sales teams by keeping up to date on industry roadmaps and company strategic priorities
  • Provide briefing agenda guidance to sales
  • Support product ordering and maintenance of assets for product showcase, loaner pool, and event activities, alongside EBC counterparts
  • Maintain team documentation, ensure asset audit compliance, and other operational directives as necessary
  • Scrap all assets, including products on display for demos in the EBC or in the loaner pool, in a timely manner via approved process to keep costs in line
  • Help refine operating processes, procedures, and program elements for EBC to include tools and budgets
  • Support segment marketing programs
  • Work with interns and help onboard new staff as appropriate and deemed by management
  • Support A/V needs during customer briefings and problem-solve as needed
  • Special projects as needed by manager and/or NA Chief Communications Officer

Basic Requirements

  • 2+ years of meeting management, customer briefing management or events management
  • Technical industry understanding;
  • Microsoft Office 365 skills including Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint skills required
  • Knowledge of conferencing and collaboration tools including Teams, GoToWebinar and Zoom required;

Preferred Requirements: 

  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal;
  • Organizational and project management skills with attention to detail;
  • Flexibility, quick thinking, and on the spot problem solving skills;
  • Energetic and outgoing personality;
  • Ability to work across company and product lines to develop relationships with all levels of employees;

HYBRID - This position will include work from our Morrisville campus as well as work from home each week.
