Description and Requirements

Lenovo is seeking a highly motivated Business Communications & Event Specialist for Advanced Innovation Center in North America. You will be part of a dynamic OPS team committed to strategizing and executing business communications, meetings, and internal events, and work closely with both local and globally distributed teams.

As the Business Communications & Event Specialist, you will provide strategic internal communications support to all our business units, responsible for developing and distributing communication materials that align with the overall strategy and leveraging various communication platforms and tools for promotion. You will also assist with planning, organizing, and executing the internal meetings and events across global teams, ensuring the delivery and overall outcome within the intended timelines. Business Communication

- Translate strategy and business materials, including leadership speeches, newsletters, and technical presentations 

- Draft and polish communication content for meetings, newsletters, websites, emails, and printed materials

- Manage internal platforms and tools for effective communications and event promotion, and improve web presence of our organization

- Maintain and improve monthly calendars, and ensure the synergy with the corporate and business unit ones

- Provide local administration support as needed

Events Coordination

- Provide strategic event planning and execution support, including annual strategic kickoff event, featured events, all hands and leadership meetings, etc.

- Manage event logistics, ensuring smooth delivery within the timelines

- Effectively collaborate with internal and external contacts to drive the best outcome possible

- Obtain and analyze participant feedback to measure and continuously improve event outcomes

- Manage event vendors and external agencies for effective budget control

- Facilitate other events when needed


l  Strong project management and organizational skills

l  Bachelor’s degree above, majoring in English, Media and business administrations is preferred

l  3+ years’ experience in Communications related role

l  Experience in Event Planning

l  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

l  Result-driven, detail-oriented, and self-motivated

l  Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools

Preferred qualifications:

l  Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Chinese/Mandarin and English

l  Global experience or working in Multinational Corporation
