Description and Requirements

Lenovo Global Financial Services Business Development Managers are responsible for representing Lenovo’s financial services offerings to our customers in support of our global as a Service business. This role is expected to provide support to Mexico and possible additional coverage for other South American territories as required.

 

Key responsibilities for this role include developing and implementing an effective sales strategy to achieve sales goals, ensuring that our small and medium-sized businesses and Channel Partners receive world-class sales and customer service, and understanding and adapting to Lenovo's ongoing product and service developments and how to incorporate them into an "as a Service" model. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing ongoing business partner accounts and client retention and providing ongoing support for the Lenovo Global Financial Services Partner Program.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in technology leasing, IT sales or Financial Sales.
  • Fluent English level

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated track record of high performance in a global or regional IT Channel position.
  • Effective organization, time management, and follow-up skills, and an understanding of residuals and pricing methodology.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and internal selling skills
  • Program/ Project Management experience is a plus.

 

Primary measures of success will be:

 

Volume of equipment funded either directly by Lenovo or by our approved Lenovo Financial Services partners.

Playing a key role in supporting the Lenovo SSG businesses in achieving their business objectives and targets.

Working internally with all financial services and Lenovo business stakeholders.

Position will report to global director, LGFS.
