Description and Requirements

Do you aspire to be a part of one of the Global Leaders in the IT world? Lenovo is seeking a motivated Business Development Manager for the visual business to develop a stable ecosystem in Benelux. 

You will be responsible to develop the business with key retail, e-tail & commercial resellers but also develop market verticals. Interfacing with Product Operations, Product Management and the Marketing team you will prepare the sales plans and manage go-to-market strategy. This makes you a crucial and visible team member across the board! 

Your detailed responsibilities are: 
  • You identify key customer requirements and coordinate a smooth sell in and sell out planning.
  • You create sales account and retail/merchandising plans which recommend sales actions to address new business opportunities.
  • You prepare regular data analysis and comparison with the market and actual/ planned shipments.
  • You share trends and new biz opportunities with Product Management.
  • You are responsible for product lifecycle management and strategic account relationship management.
  • You develop a good understanding of the country’s P&L Organization.
You will report to 4P director and will have close interlock with the Markets Sales Leaders, Business Unit General Manager, EMEA Sales Ops Manager as well as GSC and Finance. 

Requirements: 
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience with strong business acumen.
  • Proven Product Marketing and Business Development experience with budget, P&L & market share responsibility.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Commercial agility who acts with speed and a sense of urgency.
  • Detailed insight into business analytics, metric driven and fact based.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Dutch.
  • Cross route to market experience, End-user, channel & retail.
