Business Development Representative

Objectives of this Role

  • Lead Generation through prospecting to include cold-calling, sourcing, and prioritizing potential leads
  • Effective positioning of company’s value proposition against competitors to new business acquisition clients
  • Set up meetings and calls between prospective clients and Account Executives
  • Serve as a liaison between Marketing team and Inside Sales teams
  • Work within a team to achieve weekly and monthly performance metrics
  • Accurately process customer transactions for quotes and sales orders

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, and facilitate pitch logistics
  • Monitor and evaluate both customer and industry trends, meeting regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy
  • Support deal structure and pricing; negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals in partnership with Account Executives
  • Share and expand professional knowledge through networking, events, and presentations

Basic Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Successful track record of achieving quota in B2B sales
  • Effective time management and priority setting skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Working experience with sales lead generation techniques
