We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to partner with the global APOS team and assist in the planning, execution, and oversight of APOS data by providing actionable insights in support of increased warranty renewals and proactively identifying opportunities for upsell.  The ideal candidate will work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure service and value provided exceeds stakeholder expectations.   

The Business Intelligence Analyst will lead business decisions for customers and/or stakeholders by developing and providing thorough data analysis and by creating reports of patterns, insights and trends. This role will independently mine data from a variety of data sources in order to design impactful recommendations to internal and/or external stakeholders. These insights will help solve moderately complex business problems, implement best practices and optimize business performance.  

The candidate will create specifications for reports and analysis based on in-depth assessment and understanding of business needs and data available. The individual will ensure processes are followed and any fall out are addressed properly by using high level of independent judgement and decision making. The Analyst will receive mentorship on highly complex issues from more senior staff and/or management as needed. The position requires an expanded knowledge of analysis solutions/tools and domain languages. May need to be proficient in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databases and/or Business Intelligence (BI) Tools. 

Responsibilities: 

·        Leverages analytical skills and independent judgement to interpret moderately complex goals, trends, risks and areas for improvement by collecting, analyzing and reporting on key metrics and conclusions. May maintain integrity of reports and/or dashboards to allow business to accurately and efficiently operate 

·        Uses expanded analytic solutions and knowledge to support business teams and improve efficiencies. Works on projects/matters of moderate complexity in an independent contributor role. Complexity can vary based on several factors such as dynamics of customer and/or data 

·        Works cross-functionally and builds internal and/or external relationships to ensure high quality data is available for analysis and better business understanding 

·        Develops and delivers data driven insights and recommendations to internal and/or external stakeholders 

·        Engages day-to-day with stakeholders for planning, forecasting, and gaining a solid understanding of business questions for appropriate documentation and analysis 

·        Works well independently and will seek counsel and guidance on more complex projects/matters, as needed. Work is generally reliable on routine tasks and assignments 

·        Provides process management & data extract support for campaigns & other contact strategies  

Preferred Qualifications: 

·        Proficient knowledge of expanded analysis solutions/tools (such as OLTP/OLAP data structures, advanced Excel, Tableau, Salesforce, Power BI, Business Objects) 

·        Proficient knowledge of domain languages (such as SQL Query, HIVE QL, etc.) 

·        Application of moderately complex statistical methods (such as deviations, quartiles, etc.) 

·        2 – 5 years of related experience to reflect skills and talent necessary for this role preferred 

·        May require practical sales motion knowledge 

·        May require strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office Applications (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint) 

·        Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma, or the equivalent, preferred. Degree/Diploma in computer science, finance or statistics/mathematics a plus 

·       4+ years’ experience in data driven business insight recommendations, business analytics, dashboard design experience 

·        Good communication skills to interact with global leaders
