About Our Team

The Cloud Service Provider (CSP) Demand & Supply Professional is a new role being created within the Demand Planning & Supply Management (DPSM) team, to provide operational support & coordination for Lenovo’s Tier 1 CSP clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with Lenovo suppliers, to generate a complete & up-to-date view of our CSP parts supply pipeline, as well as with our CSP customers, to analyze & interpret their demand forecasts.  Close collaboration will also be required with internal functional partners, including Lifecycle Management, Order Execution, and Customer Fulfilment. The right person will be highly motivated and passionate about problem-solving and driving successful business results.


What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with Lenovo suppliers on a daily/weekly cadence to understand the pipeline for CSP parts supply, identify any gaps to the customer’s demand request, and drive closure of supply to demand (engaging the DPSM leadership team as needed).
  • Download, analyze, and ensure clarity on weekly CSP customer forecast updates, engaging the customer as needed.  Provide actionable forecast to Integrated Business Planning team for update in Sales & Operations Planning process.
  • Present regular updates in the daily production review with Executive Director, as Integrate Business Planning Rep
  • Partner closely with internal sales & supply chain functions to understand how actual customer orders compare to customer’s demand plans, driving corrective action to demand and/or supply as needed.
  • Assist in building and maintaining our internal reporting documents and meeting cadence to support this process.


Basic Qualifications

·         5+ yrs previous supply chain experience required, specifically in demand & supply operations


Preferred Qualifications

·         BA/MBA in an operational business discipline

·         Previous experience with SAP, BlueYonder, or similar demand planning system

·         Experience with Excel and PowerPoint

·         Excellent analysis & problem solving skills

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Self-motivated, good initiative and strong commitment to work

·         Good team player
