About Our Team

Lenovo's Cloud Service Provider (CSP) segment is one of the fastest growing businesses in Lenovo's Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG), with growth outpacing our competition quarter after quarter! We are seeking a senior technical leader in Compute/Storage development that will manage a global team responsible for developing products for a multibillion-dollar business. This individual will have direct engagements with the customer daily and be accountable for developing and delivering products successfully.

What You’ll Do

• Manage a global Server/Storage development team including project management, system design, and extended building blocks design and validation functions

• Conduct direct technical engagements with customer, understand customer product specifications and design requirements, provide valuable design proposals and feedback, execute agreed design direction meeting customer’s expectation through project development cycle

• Accountable for successful product development – meeting SPEC, schedule, cost, and quality goals

• Lead teamwork with cross functional teams to ensure development deliverables, meeting business and overall project goal

• Build and maintain relationships with customers, set up regular communications, deal with escalations, be responsible for Technical score in customer QBR/QTR

Position Requirements:

• Strong Storage technical background, including system architect, EE/Mechanical/Thermal, FW, S/V, PLV, SI…etc..

• 5+ years development team management experience

• 15+ years development experience

• Rich customer engagement experience, including large Cloud customer engagement experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Due to the engagement with team/vendor in Asia, English/Mandarin bilingual is a plus

• US based preferred
