Description and Requirements

Position Description:

The Change Management Communications Lead will play a key role in ensuring the Integrated Change Management team meets its project objectives by creating and executing change management communication plans that maximize employee readiness and adoption and minimize resistance.  This leader will collaborate with internal and external project leads and key stakeholders to drive higher ultimate utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees, thus increasing benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of project results and outcomes.

The Change Management Communications Lead responsibilities will include:

Stakeholder Communications

  • Develop, execute and update the project communication plan(s)
  • Develop key messages and tailor communications to maximize relevancy and effectiveness with local audiences
  • Use a variety of communication media to effectively reach multiple audience groups
  • Plan and manage required actions prior to all communication events and message delivery 
  • Coordinate and lead change communication events(roadshows, lunch & learns, etc.) 
  • Promote and utilize multiple stakeholder feedback channels
  • Ensure stakeholder messaging and activities are aligned with other initiatives as required 
  • Develop and maintain project stakeholder analysis and distribution lists

Change Network

  • Define Change Network roles and requirements
  • Facilitate identification and onboard Change Agents
  • Own and manage Geo Change Agent Network to drive program communications, issue discussion, feedback across projects
  • Support Change Agents in planning and executing change management activities

Change Readiness

  • Develop and execute the change awareness/readiness measurement approach
  • Analyze and present change measurements results and findings

Position Requirements: 

Required Qualifications: 
  • 5 to 7 years of work experience in industry
  • Master’s degree
  • Prior project experience with change management activities
  • Strong communication and executive presentation skills 
  • Experience in content coordination (ie. logistics cross time zone as needed, survey development and assessment, reporting, newsletter)
  • Resourceful with excellent problem-solving skills.  Root cause analysis experience (5 why’s or similar) and identify action plans. 
  • Highly proactive and independent, with strategic sense to identify, anticipate and mitigate risks and issues
  • Open mind, able to manage details but also see the big picture

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with the design and application of organization interventions
  • Experience facilitating large group workshops
  • Experience applying recognized organization change management methodology in a complex organization
  • Global/Multi-nation experience
  • Strong Subject matter knowledge in areas of change management and organizational development
  • Learning Management System(LMS) experience
  • Experience in the following areas:

o   Culture change 

o   Learning and development

o   Communications or marketing

o   Organization / operating model design

o   Change strategy and journey management

o   Organizational change capability building
