Description and Requirements

Lenovo ANZ seeks an  End User Compute + Data Center Channel Sales Manager for the ANZ market to focus on developing and growing our existing channel partners and increasing Lenovo mindshare/ share of wallet through our strong technology portfolio. In this role you will be responsible for the channel reps managing our top managed partners and personally drive the engagement and relationships with our top focus partners. Your key task will be to grow the SMB portfolio for both IDG and ISG  through the execution of a growth plans, channel programs and a robust channel strategy.

  • A leader contributing individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.
  • Own and drive the performance of Lenovo e channel – through initiation and execution of channel strategy (RAD)
  • Drive the business to achieve revenue, volume, profit and market share targets
  • Responsible for management of external partner account executives  team in Australia and New Zealand
  • Engage (own the relationship) with key focus partners that are instrumental to Lenovo success
  • Create and jointly execute business plans for top key partners.
  • Develop long term strategy for sustainable business growth
  • Regular joint business reviews with partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Work closely with our direct sales teams to facilitate opportunity alignment and joint selling between channel partners and direct sales team.
  • Weekly sales meetings with team to ensure accurate and predictable pipeline management
  • Provides accurate and timely management information and revenue forecasts.
  • Drive partners for lead generation activities and manage maximum utilization of CDF and ROI
  • Grow partner's mind share with Lenovo in addition to driving a programmatic approach for tactical partners.
  • Develop partner competency and self-sufficiency through training and education
  • Understand overall partner landscape & provide Market intelligence
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of Technology sector and the market dynamics for targeted growth programs

Position Requirements:

  • 10 years’ experience in the IT industry or vertical market
  • 5 years’ experience in Channel sales management & Alliances / Partner Management Advanced level prospecting and qualification experience
  • Strong operational and analytical skills
  • Self-Starter with the ability to perform in a high pressure environment
  • Strong sales/marketing skills including needs analysis, business justification, and closing methodologies.
  • Effective sales, marketing and project management skills
  • Understand market dynamics and business partner value proposition to align growth objectives
  • Anticipates, creates and defines innovative and visionary concepts in strategic environment
  • Excellent communication skills – presentation, negotiation, closing, follow through.
