Description and Requirements

Channel Marketing Manager 

The Channel Marketing Manager is a key player in driving key messages to and providing marketing tools and resources for Lenovo’s network of over 20,000 channel partners. This position works closely with the channel sales, relationship sales and product marketing organizations to understand business and marketing goals and objectives and translates those goals into measurable marketing communications plans. 

Responsibilities for the role include: 

  • Support WW channel transformation and WW channel marketing project, represent AP Geo
  • Participate in WW deployment calls
  • Liaison amongst key stakeholders for the One Channel project across regions and business groups (IDG, ISG, SSG), with high focus on ISG Business with 70%-time share.
  • Align and support One Channel Events activation in AP; engage with key stakeholders for content/agenda development and drive partner participation such as key flagships events such as Top Gun, PAC, Canalys and other key AP wide One Lenovo Channel events etc.
  • Overlook and in charge of the content lifecycle management of Lenovo Partner Hub (LPH), engage with WW and local content managers for ongoing portal content maintenance and drive user experience enhancement and features adoption.
  • Recommend, plan and develop BP Recruitment and Onboarding comms/initiatives to support end-to-end partner engagement journey
  • Manage & develop or bring WW programs and implement guide region to execute marketing programs to grow business through Lenovo’s channel partners. Programs include traditional marketing communications, sales enablement, partner briefings and events, syndication, loyalty/engagement programs and more. 
  • Manage the strategic planning, timeline and keep track on the region’s execution of partner programs in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. 
  • Understand Lenovo solution portfolios landscape and develop strategies and channel marketing programs to grow share and revenue 
  • Manage and drive co-marketing demand generation initiatives and marketing communication plans with business partners 
  • Align and work with channel sales organizations for specific tactical program development. 
  • Budget ownership for specific projects managed, including budget management with relevant alliance partners. 
  • Monitor, Manage and analyze program metrics.

Role requirements: 

• BA/BS in marketing or related field 
• Minimum of 10 years of corporate marketing or marketing agency experience is required 
• Working knowledge of technology industry and channel partners is highly preferred 
• Must have customer facing/c-level presentation experience 
• Budget management experience required 
• Ability to manage multiple accounts/tasks 
• Creative individual who is well organized with strong communications skills 
• Strong project management skills 
• People management experience a plus 
• Travel required several times throughout the year
