Description and Requirements

Role 

 

  • Provide technical leadership for Cloud security on critical cyber security initiatives. 

  • Provide technical leadership for Cloud security on critical business initiatives. 

  • Conduct technical solution assessments and provide guidance 

  • Conduct third party technical assessments 

  • Create and maintain technical security standards for cloud platforms 

  • Conduct detailed technical reviews of various cloud setups. 

  • Domestic and international travel may be required (5%) for technical meetings, workshops and on-site collaboration activities. 

  • Bring a passion to learn and stay on top of cyber security threats and trends. 

  • Bring discipline and dedication to ensure programs are secure and meet goals.

Position Requirements 

 

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information technology or related software engineering field, or equivalent experience. 

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud security 

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud computing and solution delivery 

  • 3+ years of hands-on technical leadership in cloud security 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 

  • Certifications 

  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) 

  • Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Certification 

  • AWS Web Services Solution Architect Professional 

  • AWS Security Specialty 

 
 

Preferred Qualifications 

 

  • Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) 

  • Certifications 

  • AWS DevOps Engineer Professional 

  •  Google Cloud Platform Qualified Solution Developer 

  • Google Developer Qualified Cloud Platform: App Engine, Cloud Storage and Big Query 

  • Familiarity with cyber security and information security principles. 

  • Experience leading cyber security related programs  

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 

  • Expert level skills in several technology areas.
