Description and Requirements

Position Description: Lenovo is hiring a Compensation Manager to join our Global Rewards team, based out of Hong Kong. This role will be responsible for managing Lenovo’s Compensation policies and practices for newly formed entities under SSG (Services and Solutions Group). This role reports to the Director of Compensation and will provide you with an opportunity to design, influence and implement the Compensation strategy, programs and governance for newly formed entities.

The ideal candidate will have successfully led HR/Compensation M&A from due diligence through integration. Have a solid foundation of knowledge in Compensation practices (job architecture, incentive design, performance management) for Professional Services/Solutions and/or Consulting companies.   

Position Responsibilities:

·       Own M&A due diligence workstream for HR/Compensation

·       Design and operationalize the compensation strategy for new entities

·       Design project-based retention programs with cost forecasting

·       Assess compensation competitiveness using market data with proposed actions

·       Enable a positive employee experience during onboarding/integration as it pertains to their total rewards, measured by employee engagement surveys

·       Lead HR Partners and Managers through the annual salary review and performance cycle

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years working experience and 5 years in HR/Comp or Finance.
  • Compensation experience with Mergers & Acquisitions: from due diligence through integration
  • Previous role as a Compensation Consultant / Manager with Technology Services and/or Consulting companies
  • Successfully led compensation program communications & employee education pertaining to total rewards
  • Proven ability to use data to build compelling recommendations
  • Ability to influence senior business leaders and influence and partner with other HR functions
  • Strong analytical mindset and creative thinking
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills and ability to present data in a clear, concise format
  • Project management skills and demonstrated ability to lead global projects
