About Our Team

Software and Cloud is one of the fastest growing business inside Lenovo. The goal of our software division is to develop and promote end-to-end solutions based on hardware, client software, and cloud services.

This position is for an Imaging/CV Product Management role. This is an exciting new role that will define the next generation image processing and computer vision requirements to increase overall quality of Lenovo imaging/CV solutions.

We are seeking an experienced Software Product Management with a proven record of leading and driving successful products/solutions with the ability to create innovative and differentiated solutions that will drive value for Lenovo and our customers.


What You'll Do

  • In this role, you are chartered with anticipating the imaging and CV market trends, driving key innovative software, and delivering enhanced quality of Lenovo imaging products
  • You will be using client software and Cloud services, powered by AI, to improve camera quality of Lenovo systems
  • You will closely collaborate with key stakeholders to align requirements and product requests with business value, while ensuring that the customer needs are met
  • You will interface with customers, field representatives, marketing, and executive leadership and represent the voice of the customer and be their champion in the product development & delivery process
  • You will evangelize product vision and strategy inside and outside Lenovo
  • As a key member of the Product Scrum team you will closely collaborate with cross functional and development teams to create differentiated and innovative software products and solutions and direct engineering teams in the delivery and prioritization process
  • Your day to day responsibilities will be leading your scrum teams to drive product vision, roadmap and development schedules
  • You will coordinate closely with internal and external stakeholders to align on hardware & software product synergies and marketing plans.
  • You will develop and execute the go-to-market plan in collaboration with the marketing teams
  • You will develop feature acceptance criteria to ensure product quality and to deliver the best experience possible for our customers
  • You will manage the program P/L

Position Requirements:

  • Be the expert with the detailed knowledge of state-of-the-art solutions and competitive products in this domain, provide product vision, strategy, business case, and competitive analysis
  • Creation of overall program strategy, vision, and overall business value
  • Strategize with product management and stakeholders to define overall program strategy and roadmaps
  • Create for the go-to-market plan
  • Responsible to evangelize product vision and strategy inside and outside Lenovo
  • Definition of the product delivery priorities and timeline
  • Drive product development by working closely with Scrum Master, Engineering Team, and other stakeholders on product delivery in the Agile environment
  • Groom the product backlog of competing feature requests by evaluating the business value of each, and prioritize each feature given feedback from the dev team and other stakeholders
  • Ensure that prioritized solutions are delivered in a timely manner and within budget
  • Ensure product quality and customer experience
  • Fiscal responsibility, business case assumptions, and P/L management

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent real-world experience.
  • 5+ years of software product management experience.
  • 2+ years of Agile methodology and scrum team experience.
  • 2+ years image processing and computer vision experience.
  • Strong analytical & business skills and ability to evaluate a mix of quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and drive complex software product definition and development with multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Outstanding organizational skills, especially the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities being executed by multiple teams.
  • Cloud-driven and cross-device (PC, mobile) software market

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent real-world experience. MBA is a plus!
  • Excellent communication skills

The base salary range for this position in California, Colorado, New York City, Nevada and Washington, is $100,000 - $175,000. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission. Lenovo’s various benefits can be found on www.lenovobenefits.com
